Archaeological Area of Mount Maranfusa
In Roccamena, on Mount Maranfusa, is an archaeological area where a late-6th century native settlement was recently uncovered. Dating back to between the 6th and 5th centuries, the first building consists of three environments. The second building, which lies on top of a wall of the first building, has an elongated layout. Inside, furnishing items have been found that point to the rooms having been used as living quarters. On the lower layer of the site, settlements have been uncovered dating back to the late 7th century B.C.
