Villa Filangeri
Currently the seat of the town hall of Santa Flavia, Villa Filangeri was the holiday residence of Prince Pietro Filangeri. The facade of the villa is in Baroque style, with a characteristic staircase with double ramp and decorations in Rococo stucco. On the left side there is a small chapel and not far from the villa is the present-day Basilica of Sant’Anna, which was originally only a small rural church on the land purchased by the prince. On the rear façade, overlooking the Park, is a tuff Winter Garden created by architect Ernesto Basile, who carried out extensive renovation work inside the villa.
