Church of Monte Calvario
The small Church of Monte Calvario (Mount Calvary) was built in the second half of the 19th century, at the end of Via Vittorio Emanuele in Ventimiglia di Sicilia. The layout is triangular and the entrance is delineated by two massive pillars of tuff stone and by a gate. The tomb of Christ is symbolized both inside a chapel and by a triangular structure at the end of the avenue. The tomb is covered with polychrome marble.
