Capo Market

The market in the “Il Capo” district is another of the four historical markets of Palermo. The neighbourhood took shape in the Muslim era, inhabited by the Schiavoni, who were pirates and slave traders. The local market is famous for the sale of fish, but all kinds of food products can be found at low prices in a colourful and traditional Sicilian environment.
