Cuba of Caprigna
Also known as Arab Cuba, the Cuba of Caprigna is an emblematic architectural presence that represents the mark of Arab culture in Vicari and the surrounding area. This building was originally located in the open countryside but with the subsequent expansion of the town, it gradually became an integral part of it. It features a domed roof and four arched openings facing precisely in the direction of the four cardinal points, which is precisely why it is thought to have been built by the Arabs. Originally, the building was a water tank and, in the Arab period, was probably part of the Arab aqueduct and water system.
