Church of Sant’Anna
The Church of Sant’Anna is located in the Lattarini quarter of the city (where the spice market was once located). The façade, designed by Giovanni Biagio Amico in the 1700s, is enhanced by sculptures by Giacomo Serpotta. Above the entrance is a Pietà by Marabiti.
Inside are valuable frescoes, including a vault ceiling decorated with the Ascension by Vito D’Anna and 15th-century paintings by Sicilian and Flemish artists.
