Church of the Santissima Trinità

Attached to the College of Mary, the Church of the Santissima Trinità (Most Holy Trinity) is one of a kind because of its octagonal plan. The interior is decorated with frescoes and features four minor altars, flanked by 18th-century style pilasters, many of which are positioned between the main entrance and the two side entrances from where the other wings of the building can be accessed. Further up is the tholobate of the large central dome, with its 18th-century windows hidden by brass trellises in use during the period in which the cloistered nuns were present in the College of Mary.
