Church of the Calvario
The Church of Calvary was built in 1810 using funds raised among the populace. The monastery of St. Anthony Abbot, dating back to 1520, once stood on the present site. The building has a circular shape consisting of a central part with two small compartments – sacristy on the sides. The whole is surrounded by a metal grid dating back to the early-20th century. Every year, on Good Friday, the passion and crucifixion of Jesus is commemorated here.
