The Palermo Norman Coast Tourism District is back under the spotlight at the TTG di Rimini. From 12 to 14 October the event will be hosted in a showcase in the main marketplace for B2B tourism in Italy, now approaching its 54th edition. The Rimini event registered some big numbers with almost 70 thousand visitorsand represents the moment when the entire travel industry (national and international) comes together to negotiate, do networking, start new businesses, exchange opinions and find new ideas.
It takes place at the same time as Sia Guest, the International Hospitality Exhibition and Sun, the exhibition for the outdoor world. The innovative formula concentrates the entire offer of tourism, hospitality and leisure time activities in a single location for three days, creating effective opportunities for networking between those who create the product and those who distribute it.

More than 130 destinations and three topical areas (Global Village, The World and Italy) are represented. The TTG of Rimini is therefore important for operators to meet and the future development of the tourist flow. In order to increase the flow of visitors to the area the Palermo Norman Coast Tourism District has relied on one of the main international fairs to promote this richly varied area of beautiful historic locations, art and scenery aiming therefore at tourism for the area and not just one destination.

Information can be obtained from the stand – set up inside the stand of the Sicily Region – which will welcome those who are interested or just curious at the Rimini fair to meet the specialised press and tour operators with the municipalities making a joint effort to promote the best of what they have to offer individually. The Palermo Norman Coast Tourism District, Italian capital of culture in 2018 as representative therefore intends to build on the success in Berlin, with the ITB and Rome, with the Religious Tourism Exchange.
